Posted: Mar 08, 2018 | CINCINNATI -- When it comes to planning a wedding, the typical bride thinks about how she will look on her big day from the top of her specially styled hair all the way down to her painted toes.
But one important thing most brides don’t consider, Sylvia Brownlee said, is their skin.
Brownlee aims to change that with a new offering at her Pure Beauty Bar salon in Pleasant Ridge: the “Pure Beauty Skincare Bridal Boot Camp.”
Posted: Mar 05, 2018 | Just in time for spring and summer brides, Pure Beauty Skincare is holding its first ever Mini Bridal Skin Care Boot Camp on Saturday, March 10, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Pure Beauty Bar Salon, 6050 Montgomery Road, 45213. The cost is $25.
At this mini seminar, brides-to-be will learn how to cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize and generally prepare their skin for their wedding day. The seminar is designed to give the women tips and tools to help them condition their complexion for the special wedding photos and videos, which will capture memories that will endure for generations.
Your skin is the first thing people see when they meet you, and your skin can actually be a good indicator of your overall health. Next weekend, Pure Beauty Bar Cincy is hosting a free bootcamp to get your acne under control.
We tend to forget how important it is to invest early in the health of our skin, with regular skin care. It will not only better protect it from the harsh effects of the weather, but also keep you looking and feeling your best throughout the year.
In a perfect world, there would be a one-size-fits-all regimen for controlling acne. But because everyone has unique skin types, lifestyles, and genetics, what may work for one doesn’t always work for the other.
Acne not only affects teenagers but it also affects adults well into their forties. Acne is typically genetic and if one of your parents had it growing up, the chances of you having it are higher.
